When I visit a class, the goal is to get the students actively engaged in and talking about the story. We want them to experience and apply what the characters are learning to their own lives, and come away with questions and ideas that will fuel their writing and interactions with one another. Oh, and we also take some pretty goofy selfies too. 😉
